The first Friday night show of the Summer '93 tour finds the band opening up with a Jack Straw as hot as the Summer sun. Foolish Heart->The Same Thing is an interesting combo and even more unusual is Foolish Heart as a second song in the first set. Lazy River Road sets a nice laid back groove while keeping things upbeat. The Dylan medley of Tom Thumb's->Masterpiece is fun and a nice change from the cowboy medley. So Many Roads is heartfelt and the set ending Promised Land rocks.
The second set opens with a great Eyes Of the World. Next comes stellar versions of Playing In The Band->Uncle John's Band->Corinna. The Drums->Space is very cool. The once common but by now rare The Wheel-> All Along The Watchtower->Black Peter->Sugar Magnolia is a wonderful way to end a show. The Brokedown Palace is more than icing on this fine cake. One should do whatever it takes to grab this one.
